Do you install both floor and wall tile?
Yes. We install floor tile, wall tile, shower surrounds, and backsplashes throughout Charlotte and the surrounding area, in porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone.
Do you remove old tile before installing new tile?
In most cases, yes. Installing over old tile adds height and risks a weak bond. We remove the old tile and prepare a clean, flat substrate so the new installation lasts.
What is the difference between porcelain and ceramic tile?
Porcelain is fired at a higher temperature, making it denser and virtually non-porous — ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor use. Ceramic is slightly more porous and better suited for lower-moisture interior applications. We help you select the right tile for the room.
Can glass tile be installed on floors?
Glass tile is not recommended for floors. It is too slippery and brittle for foot traffic and point loads. We install glass tile on walls — shower walls, backsplashes, and feature walls — where it performs safely and beautifully.
