Tile & Stone Works LLC installs commercial tile in Charlotte and on projects across the United States. Paul Hilgenstock trained in the German apprenticeship system and spent years on commercial tile projects across the U.S. before founding the company in 2025.
Commercial tile is judged on more than looks. Large-format porcelain needs a flat substrate and the right setting method, restrooms and commercial kitchens need waterproofing and slope that survive daily cleaning, and lobbies need tile and stone that stay tight under heavy traffic. We build every install from the substrate up.
