Tile & Stone Works LLC · Charlotte, NC · Projects Nationwide
Seamless, durable epoxy floor coatings for warehouses, shops, commercial kitchens, showrooms and garages.
Tile & Stone Works LLC installs epoxy floor coatings for commercial and industrial spaces in Charlotte and beyond. An epoxy floor is only as good as the concrete underneath it, so every project starts with the slab.
We assess the concrete for moisture, cracks and contamination, prepare it mechanically to open up the surface, repair what needs repairing, and then apply the coating system that fits the use — forklift and foot traffic, spills and chemicals, cleaning routines and slip resistance.
The result is a seamless floor that is easy to clean and built for daily wear. Tell us the space, the square footage and how it is used, and we will recommend a system and quote it — call (704) 241-9603.

Epoxy bonds to the concrete surface. If the slab is too smooth, dirty, oily or holding moisture, the coating can peel or blister. Mechanical preparation such as grinding, plus crack and joint repair, gives the coating a clean, open surface to bond to.
It depends on traffic, chemical exposure and — above all — how well the concrete was prepared. A properly prepared commercial epoxy floor is built for years of daily use; heavily used areas may need a fresh topcoat over time.
It does not have to be. Anti-slip aggregate can be added to the coating for wet areas, ramps and work zones, so the floor stays easy to clean without becoming a hazard.
